Some people view Jesus as this pasty stick-figure going around saying, “Bless you! Bless you!” like some spineless earthworm bred on Gerber’s applesauce.

Satan likes that picture. But the Jesus of the Bible is gentle and tough, humble and ferocious, loving yet angrier than a taunted bull. The people who hated Him the most were the most powerful people. The people who loved Him were the most broken. It really doesn't matter what we think He was like. Just give me who He was. That's all I want to know.
