The World's Philosophy in Pop Culture
Apologist, evangelist, preacher, and professor at The Master's College, Jay Wegter, made the insightful observation that bumper stickers are the world's philosophy in pop language.
Walking around a Disney-founded arts campus in southern California, he jotted down several that illustrate this:
Don't postpone joy.
Eve was framed.
God is too big to fix into any one religion.
The earth doesn't belong to us. We belong to the earth.
Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich.
Jay Wegter taught, "People want a worldview that frees up their lusts...The madness of sin is that it hides the fact that you are a slave." To see more of his powerful ministry, go to gospelforlife.org.
