What's So Big About Faith (Open Air Downtown Kalamazoo)

God's Spirit rocked downtown Kalamazoo this unforgettable night of the 10th of June.

Last night more people than ever showed up from Calvary and the community to serve, eat, hear the gospel, talk with strangers, and watch suspiciously from a distance. New converts from past weeks showed up for discipleship. Two young ladies turned from their sin and surrendered to Jesus. One guy told me to shove it when it comes to that *&^%! *&^%! Jesus stuff and walked off laughing and cursing hysterically. No sooner had he left did another man walk up and ask for prayer.

God's hand is moving in this place in a remarkable way. Never before have I witnessed such a variety of believers from various ages and life stages show up from Calvary to serve food, evangelize the lost, weep with the hurting, and join hands with fellow followers of Jesus. I am humbled and amazed to see God raise up such a devoted team of people. But we shouldn't be surprised. After all, it's God's hand.
