You have heard that we shouldn't blame others for our faults. This is true. But Jesus asks you to blame Himself for your sins.

All your shame, all your guilt, all your nefarious deeds, sinister thoughts, and self-seeking actions he took upon Himself and gladly suffered the full brunt of God's wrath so that you could be cleaner than fresh snow.

"He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Cor 5:21).
