Some of the reformed tradition are better at expositing the reformers than they are at expositing the Scriptures.

I'm not anti-reformed. In fact, some of my favorite books were written by reformed folk and my theology on salvation is far more reformed than not. But some take it way too far, upholding creeds and confessions as if they held authority. They don't; only God's Word is final and authoritative.
